The 11th Afghan cricket academy was established in Helmand with a cost of 800,000 AFN provided by the country’s cricket board.
In an attempt to promote and institutionalize cricket in the country, officials of the cricket board are seeking to build more cricket academies across the country.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Helmand Deputy Governor Masood Bakhtawar promised to address the demands of the cricket players.
